What does entrepreneurship and grant writing have in coming? On the surface it doesn’t seem to make sense. It sounds like an oxymoron. these Securing millions of dollarstwo terms do not go together. Until …

Someone comes along and change such thinking.

When I think of grant writing or should I say, used to think of grant writing, it is usually in the context of a struggling non-profit organization trying to go after as many grants as possible, just to stay afloat. It did not seem as a desirable occupation. Who would want to do all the research and accompanying paperwork to submit a proposal and more times than not, being rejected?

Gratitude is one of the most overlooked attributes when it comes to the conversation of success.

Gratitude Leads To SuccessSo much is said about ingenuity, coaching, mentoring, grit, mastery, etc. but not much is said about gratitude. As true as this list is, even though it’s not an exhaustive one, when it comes to success, I believe without gratitude, such success, will be short-lived. Show me an ungrateful person and I’ll show you someone who unsuccessful or will not be successful for too much longer.

Is there such a thing as key to success? Some people think so, and that is why they are either hawking there secret formula or buying every product Planning Key To Successthat makes that promise.

I know that I have been guilty of that. I have purchased hundreds and probably thousands of dollars of products including coaching products, looking for that silver-bullet that would get me that elusive overnight success.

I’m sure I’m not the only one. I do think you might have both your hands up as well. If you haven’t spent at least a few hundred dollars, like I have on trying to find the key to success, you’re either lying, living in denial or not really wanting it – key to success – bad enough.

After all these years and my griping above, I’m now using the term midlife makeover as the title of this show-note. I hope you don’t tune me out because I do.

Hearing no is not something I like to hear. I know that there’s no way getting around having to hear no at some point. It’s understandable and Bob burg on overcoming rejectionnecessary. It makes hearing yes, sweeter.

Even though hearing no is something we all have to contend with, it’s not so much the no as it is what we do after hearing no.

Some people throw temper-tantrums upon hearing no. Others may go in a mild to severe depression while others use it as fuel for their fire.

I used to think that way and maybe it’s why I wasn’t as successful as I envisioned.

Accountability is one of the topics that we hear a lot about; at least I do and the importance of it. One of the context in which it is used mostly, is in Accountability is key to successthe arena of success.

I know for myself most of what doesn’t get done are those things that I don’t have some form of accountability.

When I have someone holding me accountable to getting things done, it makes a huge difference. Most of what I’ve accomplished so far has come as a result of an accountability group or person.
